I came back from China 3 weeks ago, but I didn't have time to organize all the pictures I took.

The ChineseExperience was interesting, not beautiful, not at all! Interesting, curious, scary maybe because if that's our future...well, let's do something about it!

Hi There!
I have been away for a long time...almost 5 months now...
The truth is that I haven't been anywhere but here, in BCN, but I had a lot to do, especially under the work and capstone project point of view...

I am at the office (not exactly the best place to post from), my assistants are home for Easter holiday, the secretary is sick and my boss is at the BabiesDoctor's. It's just the four of us, two graphic designers, a programmer and me, the PM. My boyfriend has just called me and he sounded happy.

Last night we came back from Milan, where we met my family. It all went ok, finally I saw my AmericanCousins after 1 year and 7 months, I pet my kitties, I went out with my Friends&Cousins and checked out my brother's bar. The CityCenter is always the same, still charming in its decadence. The Americans gave my Kitties and new red playground and Felipe really liked it, as you can see!

Unluckily my BF is allergic to cats..let's say he didn't have a GoodNightSleep on Friday, eh eh...and yesterday we made him get lost in the woods while looking for a restaurant...fog, leaves, rain, trees...walking in the forest of Lombardy, ah ah ah ah...

Since MyLovelyJulio left us last Summer, Gabris decided she couldn't live with one kitty only, and she got Leticia.

Now we have Felipe&Leticia, like in the SpanishRoyalFamily. Leticia has already made some things clear: she loves the white armchair, so don't try to put her on the sofa because it's not gonna last. She likes switching the tv on at night, when everybody is asleep. She doesn't like to be touched, so don't pet her while you watch the game. She hates men, but she is a girl and wants to have fun, so she sees Felipe like a hobby...BoyToyFelipe, ajajaja...

Yet I haven't had the chance to meet her because she lives in Italy, but I am off to Milan on the 23rd of December, and I can already see myself sorrunded by kitties on that night...Christmas is coming!!!!!!

XmasShopping starts on Wednesday at 2pm here in BCN.

My DubaiPrincess has made me notice that my Blog is full of pics of men...mmmm...right...she's smart, Lex!

The funny thing is that only one of them was my boyfriend and another one was something else, but anyway...this is just to reassure TheBeautifulWorld that I don't date 50 guys at the same time.
I wish I could...ehehehe...

Yesterday I asked my dad to save some AirwayMiles for me: I cannot wait to plan a trip to Dubai!!! I really want to go to the MidEast, see the desert, check out a booming economy, snowboarding in a place where there are 40ºC normally, cross the border and sit on the beach, have a RealShoppingExperience...and above all I need to see Lex again. I need, and i mean NEED not simply WANT, to give her a hug while reminding myself I would sell my soul to TheDevil to be that fit, to have an endless chat about her new life, to finally meet FamousSweetMike, to envy her finger that wears a TiffanyRing, to be enlightened about diets and to prove myself, once again, that some encounters happen for a reason!

The pic I have just added was taken in Sitges during the Summer of 2003. That was the holiday when I fell in love with BCN and with the people I met three years ago and I still go out with. Ben, Lee, Lex and I spent a day on the beach, getting burnt under the sun (despite the typical AussieSunFear) and getting to know each other. There I met Lex, my Lex, who was able to impress me so much that after 3 years we still talk every single day...and we have seen each other for no more than 3 days in a lifetime!

Lex must be my SouldMeeting...yeah...

...I wanted to wait till DinnerDay to wish Ivan a HappyBirthday, but we keep postponing it because of work!!!!

This is a six-month-old picture we took when we had an EasterTrip out of town. Ivan is a really nice person, very good company and a kind guy. I owe him 6 dinners and 3 lunches at least, that's why I have been researching the RestaurantMarket for weeks before I decided where to invite him! Ivan is a SeriousEngineer and we all know how busy engineers are! They don't waste their time designing AttractiveLogos, brainstorming about SeasonalTrends, choosing HandsomeModels, flirting Here&There, shooting CoolPictures which will be retouched anyway, going to FancyEvents and so on, engineers work for real!!! They make bridges, streets, buildings, harbours while wearing perfectly ironed DarkSuits. That must be why they are cool. And useful!

Nick emailed me to do something together, but I don't feel like it. It's not about him, it's just that I am in my LonelyMood and I know I have to stay alone.

Ivan sms'ed me to go for a drink, but I am writing about GabrielleCocoChanel for the GalleryMagazine and I didn't want to interrupt the word flow again.

JR has just called me because he thought I was sad. He said he could guess it from my emails, probably because I had told him I needed to stay in bed and look at the ceiling for a while.

I am not sad.

Not at all. Simply, I am in the weird mood that follows a nice weekend, when you have had fun without doing anything extraordinary and you have realised that some people make the difference. Moreover, tomorrow a very hard week begins - i do hope we'll be able to do this photoshoot with good weather and cool atmosphere - and I have also spent two afternoons thinking about the mag.

Despite this, I am still sitting alone in the dark. My bedroom. LimpBizkit's BehindBlueEyes. Candle light. Many thoughts.

Sometimes in life we happen to move to a new place and we are obliged to share a flat with some strangers...

Last night I went back to Plaza Espanya - I hadn't been there for a log time because I want to avoid running into the Loca of Poble Sec, she may still desire to stab me - and it was great to hug RobTheCook, even though none of us was wearing glasses, so basically we were hoping to be hugging someone we knew, to talk to AnnaInTheShower through the bathroom door while holding her little b-day present, and to get to see GerardElImpresentable finally! This man never calls me, never visits me, never tells me what's up in his life in Girona, but I keep loving him! There must be something wrong in my relationship with the opposite sex...!
I am happy I could ascertain that AleixConPeinetaRosa is still as crazy and estupendo as I remembered he was, and I especially appreciated him when he said that all Italians are very attractive, eh eh...

Thai food, sangría, risotto, chips, gin tonic, memories, movie soundtracks, pizza, people singing, 28 candles, chats, Madonna, A-Party&B-Party, blogs, smiles, awful puzzles, secret pink drinks, coca con piñones, song challenge, Swedish cookies and candy...

I must say my first month in BCN was one of the best moments of my short life, and this happened thanks to the guys I was living with at the time.

It's cool to be aware of having someone's eyes on me, and that someone is a very smart man! A little card in two languages with no signature...definitely this person knows me enough to be able to catch my attention.

The far sound of fireworks...that's the end of LaMercé. Tomorrow I will be at work at 8.30am and I won't even remember I have been on holidays for some days. Coffee, cereals, emails, phone call, orange juice, yellow post-it, another call, a magazine, a meeting...hopefully Friday will come soon.
The last two days were good! Yesterday I finally saw Elisa after two years, she has just moved to BCN thanks to an ErasmusScholarship and she needed a friend who could tell her that moving to another country is difficult at the beginning only. It's true...I mean, on April, 10th 2005 I packed up and left Italy with a one-way ticket, not with a one-year scholarship, and I was very happy I was brave enough to do that, but at the same time I was really scared by the big question mark that was waiting for me in BCN. At the passport control of MXP I wondered if it was a smart move, if I would be strong enough to build a new life on my own, if I could make it in business school...but the confusion lasted 60 seconds only. I was sooooo ready to go! Plus Ben was waiting for me in Spain...that was the sweetest thing he has ever done for me in more than three years. I will never forget sitting on my red suitcase outside his building when he finally showed up, Ben and his long blond hair...
I don't know if I have ever thanked him for coming to BCN with me last year in April, for giving me a don't-worry-everything-will-be-fine hug, for having me, for taking me out with Manu, for making sure that I was ok, that I had a nice house and good flatmates, that I was doing fine at school, that I was ready to start a new life. Maybe I have never told him how much I appreciated that hug and that smile on the first day of my new life...
Well, I don't think Ben will ever get here, to this Blog, but in case he does...

Thank you for being here when I needed you, you're a special person to me.

Alive&Kicking after three days in bed...
I've spent a lot of time in bed - alone, as usual, if we don't consider the virus I caught - watching Sex&TheCity, reading VanityFair, emailing friends, thinking about all the things that I have to do and I don't feel like doing (a good example is the MBA capstone project).
This morning I woke up and I realised I couldn´t waste another day, so I called Mars and we went for breakfast at Dolso´s, RestauranteDePostres. I really missed Mars, and I guess I will keep missing him, as he is leaving BA for Alitalia. This means no reasons to move back to BCN. Too bad.
Then I joined Nick at his place and we got rid of our typical SushiCrave at ON: a very good Japanese meal in a nice place with a cool friend...what more can I say?! As usual, we ate a lot, so I was obliged to oblige Nick to walk to the city centre with me; we went sunglasses hunting, visited the University park, commented on each person we saw and finally sat at MuseoTextil for a MintTea. Nick says I filter what I see, meaning I subconsciously avoid looking at ugly. Could be...

Some people are just too rich..
I have spent the last 3 days going around Catalunya with one of the coolest Spanish photographers, looking at mansions that a normal human being cannot even hope to desire!
How come that some people are so rich...and have such bad taste????
I mean, if you have that kind of money and you can pay 5 architects who are gonna build the coolest place on earth, extreme design, contemporary style, expensive materials...don't tell me you cannot hire an interior designer who is able to fix the rest of the house!
No, you get there and you faint at the gate because WOWWWWW!!! That's the house I have always dreamt of! and then you enter the place and...ah, ok, no interior designer...
Moreover, if you are that rich&famous...why do you want to rent your beautiful place to an ad agency which is gonna break at least a 600-$ flower pot?

Yesterday I landed in BCN at 5pm, I caught a cab and went straight home. Unluckily there was still the sun: I love getting to Plaza Espanya by taxi at night, it makes me feel great while thinking "Hey, I do live in this beautiful place! I'm not on holiday!".
Anyway...back to the office this morning at 8.30. I walked there, as usual, but I had to stop at Habitat's and beg Bego to pick me up with an umbrella because there was a storm and I was wearing a white top, a skirt, Summer shoes...and I had a fantastic 70s hair style thanks to Rocco!
Good start.
I had to stay at the office with my client's pullover, barefoot and almost in my underwear, waiting for my stuff to dry. Finally at 1.30pm I left to Igualada with the model and the coolest stylist...by train...84 minutes to get there...thank god my clients are fantastic and even an ordinary fitting becomes fun!
Now I am sitting on my bed, listening to Radio Deejay: Walk On The Wild Side.

Luckily the week started on Tuesday.

Sitting home. My parents' place. Italy. 20.29pm.
Yesterday it was my b-day (and also my mum's) and I celebrated it the best way with someone really cool. Thanks a lot...you kept your promise: you were home on my b-day.
My brother gave me a great present: a full-body massage at Laura's beauty centre, i loved it and I bet I will become addicted. I saw Rocco this morning and now I obviously have the coolest hair style ever. Muy 80s.
I am waiting for Luca to pick me up. We are going to the club where my brother works as a barman, ZERO. Luca is a good friend, it's nice to know that he is always around on my b-day: last year we celebrated it with Marghe's couscous at my ex place in BCN with Anna, Robert, Gokce and Alex. It was a nice evening!
Can't wait to hug Fede tomorrow and to see Coghi tonight, if he really shows up after someone's marriage in Macu...Macu...that was a long time ago...I am afraid I am getting old...since yesterday I am closer to 30 than 20...!
